Kartik is one of the most eligible bachelors today, he rules the hearts of almost a lakh girls and has earned a name in the industry solely on the basis of his hard work and acting. His film ‘Freddie’ is in a lot of discussions right now and the actor’s latest revelations about the film have shocked everyone.
After completing his film ‘Dhamaka’ in a record time of 10 days, Kartik did something different for ‘Freddie’ as well. Kartik gained around 12 to 14 kg, which was required for his role in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Freddie’, a romantic thriller full of unexpected twists and turns.
He worked on his physique along with his trainer Sameer Joura based on the requirements of his character in ‘Freddie’. Sameer is known to be very expert in body transformation and has worked with some of the big names of Bollywood through his transformation journey.
Talking about his work with Kartik, Sameer said, “Transformation is not limited to just clipping or ripping, sometimes it involves putting on kilos and fat, but it is done in a very supervised and safe manner. Karthik was able to gain 14 kgs to achieve this look with disciplined, tailor-made workouts and the right diet.”
“His dedication is unbelievable as he is genetically lean so his role in gaining weight in that particular time frame is really commendable. In fact, he lost weight with his Freddie look to get ready for his next film. started.” added.
‘Freddie’ went on floors in Mumbai on August 1. Actor Alaya F is also starring in the film opposite Kartik. Apart from ‘Freddie’, Kartik will also be seen in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, ‘Dhamaka’ and ‘Captain India’.
