From Bunty Aur Babli 2 to Shamshera, list of movies announced by Yash Raj Films and their release dates

Yash Raj Films has gifted cinema lovers with a slew of movies releasing in theatres. The huge Bollywood production house announced the release dates of its four big films that will hit the silver screen except on the OTT platform. Four films, Bunty Aur Babli 2, Prithviraj, Jayeshbhai Jordaar and Shamshera, are part of Yash Raj Films’ fifty-year plan.

List of movies announced by YRF:

Bunty Aur Babli 2

The first installment of the film starring Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan emerged as a blockbuster hit. The sequel of Bunty Aur Babli 2 will feature Saif Ali Khan, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Rani Mukerji and Sharvari Wagh in the lead roles. The film will hit the silver screens on November 19, 2021.

Prithviraj

Prithviraj Miss World 2017 will be the debut film of Manushi Chhillar. The historical film will also feature Akshay Kumar, Sonu Sood and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles. Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the film will release on January 21, 20211.

Jayeshbhai Jordar

The film is said to be a social comedy and will feature Ranveer Singh and Shalini Pandey in lead roles. Jayeshbhai Jordaar will follow a Gujarati man who turns out to be a hero. Directed by Divyang, it will hit the theaters on February 25, 2022.

shamshera

Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor, the film is directed by Karan Malhotra. Shamshera will mark the first collaboration of Vaani and Ranbir. Apart from her, the film will also feature Sanjay Dutt in a pivotal role. It will release on 18 March 2022.

In other news, Agisilos Demetriades, brother of Gabriella Demetriades, girlfriend of Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal, was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on September 25. Reportedly, drugs were recovered from their possession in Goa. According to reports, this is the third time Agisilas has been arrested in connection with drugs. In a statement issued by the police, the South African national was arrested on Friday and sent to judicial custody.
