Match report
Earlier in the game, Harleen Deol scored 46 runs to push Gujarat Giants to 169/6. Kim Garth secured the second top five goalkeeper of the 2023 WPL but it was to no avail as GG continued their poor performance in the league.
Earlier, Gujarat Giants skipper Sneha Rana won the toss and elected to bat first. GG suffered a huge blow in the first match of the tournament as star batsman and captain Beth Mooney was eliminated in the first match against Mumbai Indians.
