Speaking to ANI on Wednesday, Shankhdhar said, “We are recording an average of 15-20 patients every day, but in the last 24 hours, the district has recorded around 30 cases.”
“Every patient is admitted to a government hospital or a private hospital. Testing facilities in government hospitals have been improved. A testing drive will be launched from October 18 where volunteers visit every house to conduct dengue tests and collect data. will do.” Shankhdhar added.
With the winter season approaching, the Health Department is also making preparations to control the seasonal diseases that may come in the coming days.
“Our teams are also working in rural areas to ensure that the diseases do not increase with the change in weather. If anyone has fever or any other disease, that person is being screened and given medicines. There is not a single case of encephalitis. Not yet reported in the district,” he said.
Urging the people to take all precautionary measures, he urged the residents to wear full sleeved clothes and ensure that water does not stagnate anywhere in the house for a long time. (ANI)
