Gov to Celebrate World Veterinary Day on April 29


New Delhi: World Veterinary Day 2023 is tomorrow (29th April 2023). THE Day honors the veterinary profession on the last Saturday of April each year. This year, the theme of the day is promoting diversity, equality and inclusion in the veterinary profession

To recognize and celebrate the important role of veterinarians as educators, educators and policy makers in animal and human health and welfare, food safety, food quality and safety, ecology, drug and drug development, biomedical research and rural development in the field of animal husbandry and management, as well as the preservation of wild animals, as well as the protection of the environment and biodiversity, in order to protect our country by preventing the threat of bioterrorism, the Ministry of Animal Husbandry and Dairying in close cooperation with the Veterinary Council of India will celebrate the world. Veterinary Day – 29th April 2023 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

Parshottam Rupala, Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Balyan, Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying and L. Murugan, Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying will grace the event.

Those involved in the veterinary profession are invited to the Mega event throughout the country. Major activities include conferences and panel discussions on major topics including veterinary education and services in the country and the role of veterinarians in a health.
