New Delhi: The government is introducing a new bill to end free WhatsApp calls. The government prepared the draft law and introduced several new changes. Internet changes are one of them. Under the new bill, apps that facilitate free online calling services will require a ‘telecom license’ from TRAI.

Will you have to pay for online calls in the future?

Well, if this bill is accepted by the National Assembly, it will become law. As a result, TRAI will take the final call on the charges for such calls. News24 cannot yet independently confirm what these allegations are. However, based on media reports, the government is looking into the possibility of ending free online phone services.
