‘Haunted Mansion’ gets 2023 release date from Disney

Los Angeles: Disney revealed on Friday that the release date of “Haunted Mansion” has been set for March 10, 2023. The date for the film had already been shelved, an untitled incident at the studio.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the theme park-inspired “Haunted Mansion” stars Rosario Dawson, LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson and Danny DeVito, and Dear White People producer Justin Simien. ‘Haunted Mansion’ follows a mother and son who meet a mansion that is more than it seems. Along the way, they meet fantastical characters who are the key to unlocking a mystery. The project was filmed in New Orleans and Atlanta late last year.

Live-action “Aladdin” creators Dan Lin and Jonathan Erich are producing through their rideback banner. Rideback’s Nick Reynolds is executive producer.

Disney also revealed that Searchlight’s “The Banshees of Inishrin” will open in limited release on October 21, 2022. The film stars Brendan Gleeson, Colin Farrell, Barry Keoghan and Keri Condon and is directed by filmmaker Martin McDonagh.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, it tells the story of two friends on a remote Irish island who find themselves in a strange moment when one of them decides they no longer want to be friends.
