As a result, a low pressure area may develop over the southeastern Bay of Bengal and the adjacent southern Andaman Sea. It will most likely move and concentrate in the west-northwest direction. In the next 24 hours, a trough will form over the southeast Bay of Bengal. After that, it is most likely to move in a west-northwest direction and arrive near Tamil Nadu.

According to Skymet Weather, a fresh western disturbance is expected to bring light to moderate rain and snow over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh from today till December 11. Upper Uttarakhand may experience light rain and snow. Light to heavy rain is expected over several parts of Tamil Nadu, South Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Andaman & Nicobar for the next two days.
