Dasun Shanaka thanks the crowd for the “massive support”.
“I want to thank the crowd; they have supported us massively. Hopefully we made them proud today. In IPL 2021, Chennai won the match by batting first and that’s what was on their mind. These young people know the conditions very well. Wanindu made a big impact after losing five wickets. Chamika and DDS also batted very well. The last ball six was the turning point. 170 was mentally the difference as 160 always feels chaseable,” Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka said after the win.
