Hyundai Casper will launch in India soon


New Delhi: Hyundai Motors may launch its Hyundai Casper micro-SUV in India this year, which will compete with the segment’s best-selling Tata Punch, along with the Citroen C3, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kyger and Maruti Ignis. The Hyundai Casper was launched in the global market last year and is now eagerly awaited in the Indian market as well. In fact, given the way Tata Punch has taken over the market, the Casper may be launching soon too. Hyundai India may issue an official statement on the Casper launch in the near future.

Hyundai cheap SUV
Speaking of the platform and performance of the Hyundai Casper, this micro SUV is 3595 mm long, 1595 mm wide and 1575 mm high and was developed on the K1 compact car platform. The small SUV from Hyundai is powered by a 1.1-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine that can deliver up to 69 hp. There will also be a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine that can deliver up to 82 hp. This micro SUV can be offered with 5-speed manual and automatic transmission.

Great looks and features
Speaking of the Hyundai Casper’s looks and features, this SUV will get round headlights, LED daytime running lights, aggressive bumpers, a silver skid plate, a wide air dam, as well as two-tone rear roofs, angular wheel arches, multi-spoke alloy wheels and all-round ones. A black plastic panel can be seen. The SUV will come with two-tone interiors, as well as standard and safety features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play support, connected car technology, rear-view camera, multifunction steering wheels, dual airbags, keyless entry, adjustable handrests. Hyundai Casper will be launched in India in the price range from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 9 lakh.
