New Delhi: The Exter gets a 1.2 liter petrol engine with CNG fuel. The petrol Exter can be had with a five-speed manual or AMT automatic gearbox, while the Exter CNG will only be available with a manual option. Hyundai’s soon-to-arrive car will take its place under the Venue in the company’s line-up. It will be smaller in size than the Venue. The power and torque of the car has not been officially announced yet, it is likely that the 1.2 liter engine in this car will produce 83bhp and 114Nm of torque like the Grand i10 Nios, Aura and Venue. Similarly, the CNG powertrain produces 69 PS and 95.2 Nm like its sedan, SUV and hatchback counterparts.

The Exter will be available in EX, S, SX, SX (O) and the top-of-the-line SX(O) Connect. The EX trim doesn’t get an AMT gearbox – it’s only available with a petrol manual option.

Hyundai offers the Exter in six monotone exterior paint colors – Atlas White, Cosmic Blue, Fiery Red, Starry Night, Titan Gray and the new-for-Hyundai Ranger Khaki. The Exeter is available in three two-tone colors: Atlas White, Cosmic Blue and Ranger Grey.
