Hyundai Tucson vs Citroen C5 Aircross facelift


New Delhi: French car brand France Citroen has launched its new SUV C5 Aircross Facelift. Last month, Hyundai Motor also launched the fourth generation of the luxury SUV from Tucson in India. More than one recent feature was introduced in both cars. Let’s see which car is better in this case.

How do they look?

The C5 Aircross facelift has a sporty design. A new sloped roof design, powerful hood, newly designed front grille and newly designed LED headlights are visible.

To give the Hyundai Tucson a sleek look, a chrome grille, hood, roof rails, ORVMs, wide air dam, stylish LED headlights, aerodynamic trim design, and use of 18-inch alloy wheels with Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) were used to do so.

Hyundai Tucson vs C5 Aircross comparison: Features

Both cars are 5-seater SUVs. Both get features like a 12.3-inch digital display, air cleaner, panoramic sunroof, touch infotainment control unit, leather seats, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, rearview camera, traction control, ambient lighting, immobilizer, and airbags.

Hyundai Tucson is equipped with ADAS technology that provides great driving experience with great safety. Whereas the C5 Aircross lacks this feature.

Hyundai Tucson vs. C5 Aircross: Engine

The Citron C5 Aircross facelift is powered by a 2.0 liter diesel engine that generates a maximum power of 177 hp and a torque of 400 Nm. While Hyundai Tucson gets a 2.0-liter gasoline engine, which produces a maximum power of 150 horsepower and a torque of 192.2 Nm. Also, there is an option for a 2.0 liter diesel engine as well.

Hyundai Tucson vs. C5 Aircross: Price

Citroen has kept the initial showroom price of the C5 Aircross facelift at Rs 36.67 lakh. While the price of the new Hyundai Tucson starts at 27.69 Lakh rupees.
