New Delhi: Hyundai India launched the 2022 model of the Venue subcompact SUV in June. Now, the South Korean automaker has launched a high-performance version of the SUV in the form of the Hyundai Venue N-Line. The sportier version of the Venue receives a number of upgrades compared to the standard version.

The Venue N-Line is the second Hyundai N-Line product after the i20 in the company’s lineup in India and will compete with the Kia Sonet X-Line and Nissan Magnite Turbo. The Venue N-Line offers a more enjoyable driving experience along with cosmetic and mechanical upgrades. The most striking difference in the Venue N-Line styling is the red accents on the bumper, doors and roof bars. In addition, there is also a dark chrome front grille and new 16-inch alloy wheels along with red brake calipers. The Venue N-Line also gets a spoiler, split skid plate and dual exhaust, while the exhaust is hidden on the standard Venue.

Customers will be able to choose from three paint schemes, including Thunder Blue, Polar White and Shadow Grey. The red accents continue inside with AC vents and black seats on the face.

The Hyundai Venue N-Line only comes with a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that churns out 118PS of power and 172Nm of torque, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. A mildly noisy exhaust adds to the SUV’s overall charm. Additionally, Hyundai has tweaked the N-Line’s suspension and steering to add a sportier element.
