Dubai: IND vs ENG is about to begin, and India have opted to bowl In his first practice match. Virat Kohli is giving big news to put an end to the speculations about where KL Rahul is going to bat. He will start this tournament with Rohit Sharma. Kohli will bat on 3.

Before the match both the captains shared their thoughts:

Virat Kohli: We will bowl first. The idea is to create some energy and momentum as a team. We have played in different teams recently (in IPL). We have had success in the past. So we want to generate that energy, when the eleven players are together then the fielding is the best place to start. IPL is right up there in terms of level and competition, but it is paramount. Indian cricket is everyone’s priority. This has to be the case. Compatibility matters. People play different roles in their IPL teams. It is now about adjusting quickly with this team, what matters who plays where. We’re pretty settled in terms of how we’re going to start in the first game. Apart from this, we want to give maximum opportunities to people in these sports. We would like to give game time to most of them. Things were different before IPL, now it is difficult to look beyond KL Rahul at the top of the order. Rohit is without a brain. A world class player, he is solid up front. I 3. I will bat. That’s the only news I can give to begin with (smiles).

Jos Butler: Everyone’s excited. Nice to meet you Obviously, he (Morgan) is resting after those weeks in the IPL. Gives exposure to others. I am sure India will hit us hard, there will be a lot of intensity. Some have come for us from IPL and many are coming directly from home. It’s about adapting to team roles. It’s important to push for places, it’s something that has inspired us over the years. There is a lot of competition and that really motivates people. It’s been healthy for us.

India haven’t won any T20 WC since 2007 and with this match, India are starting to prepare for the big win they want.
