India officially took over the presidency of the G20 on Thursday.
Prime Minister Modi said on Thursday that India will work to promote unity inspired by the theme of “One Land, One Family, One Future”, citing terrorism, climate change and the pandemic as the biggest challenges that can best be tackled together.
The G20 or Group of 20 is the world’s largest intergovernmental forum of developed and developing economies.
