Index of industrial production: Official statistics released on Friday show that India’s industrial production rose 3.1% in September.
In September 2021, the index of industrial production (IIP) increased by 4.4%.

Manufacturing sector output increased by 1.8% in September 2022, according to IIP data released by the National Statistics Office (NSO).
During the month, power output rose 11.6% while mining output rose 4.6%.
