New Delhi: Rinku Singh became the most popular trend on Twitter after hitting five back-to-back sixes in the final over of the GT vs KKR thriller at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. The Kolkata Knight Riders batsman hit five sixes as KKR needed 28 runs off the last five balls.

Gujarat Titans (GT) skipper Rashid Khan turned the game in the hosts’ favor in the 17th over of Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) chase of 205. Rashid became the first player in the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) to take a hat-trick with headers.
The 24-year-old spinner removed Andre Russell, Sunil Narine and Shardul Thakur in the 17th over to derail Kolkata’s run chase. With the final tally of 29 runs, skipper Rashid Khan was confident that they would win the match easily. But there stands the man, the 25-year-old left-handed batsman from Aligarh in the way of the Titans.
