Jammu and Kashmir logs 687 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours

Srinagar: 687 new cases of COVID-19 and two deaths were reported in Jammu and Kashmir during the last 24 hours, the Union Territory Health Department said on Sunday.

Out of these 687 new cases, 437 were reported from Jammu division and 250 from Kashmir division.

According to the health bulletin, 135 people have recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours in the UT.

At present there are 3,531 active COVID-19 cases in the Union Territory, 2,032 in Jammu division and 1,499 in Kashmir division. The government’s daily health bulletin also stated that 52,543 vaccine doses were administered taking the total dose administered in the UT to 1,93,19,823.
