Hyundai has finally unveiled the new Tucson SUV in India. The company also announced the launch date for the new SUV. The Hyundai Tucson will be launched on August 4. The 2022 Tucson gets an all-new design and feature update. From the front grille to the steering wheel, there are changes to almost every aspect of the SUV.


The all-new Hyundai Tucson is offered with two powertrains. It is powered by either a new Nu 2.0 petrol engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission or a new R 2.0 diesel engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Hyundai Tucson SUV Features

The new Tucson SUV will also benefit from Hyundai Bluelink features to give it modern features like voice recognition commands and over-the-air updates for the system and map. The new Hyundai Tucson with Hyundai Bluelink offers customers more than 60 connected car features. The Hyundai Tucson will be offered with a free 3-year Bluelink subscription and will also get smartwatch connectivity for iOS, Android OS and Tizen.

The Hyundai Tucson will come with a 10.25-inch HD audio video navigation system. It will be placed horizontally on the dashboard. The infotainment screen will support split-screen display. The infotainment system will also offer Android Auto or Apple Car Play connectivity. The software will also support up to 10 regional languages ​​and 2 global languages. Alexa and Google Voice Assistant are also supported in Hindi and English. The car will also benefit from a valet mode.

The car also gets a 10.25-inch floating digital cluster. Digital cluster displays – custom themes, turn-by-turn navigation, front and rear parking sensor display, drive mode selection (Normal/ Eco/ Sport/ Smart) and multi-terrain modes (snow/mud/sand).

The 2022 Hyundai Tucson also has several air conditioning technologies. It gets a Multi Air mode which the company says is inspired by airplanes, the technology activates smooth airflow from multiple vents.

The new Hyundai Tucson also offers Dual Zone FATC (fully automatic temperature control) with automatic defogger. The Hyundai Tucson also offers ventilated and heated front seats. The Tucson also gets a voice-activated intelligent panoramic sunroof.

Additionally, the new 2022 Tucson SUV will be equipped with the following features:
