JK: BSF airlifts 3 patients in need of urgent medical attention from Kupwara

Kupwara (Jammu and Kashmir): The Border Security Force (BSF) on Monday airlifted three patients, who needed immediate medical attention, from a snow-clad village in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara.

three patients named Hafsa Sajjad, 16, a resident of Tangdhar; The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Kashmir Frontier said that Zahoor Ahmed Khan, a resident of Teetwal, was evacuated along with another from Tangdhar sector of North Kashmir’s district Kupwara.

The PRO also said that the BSF evacuated the patients on a special request from the district administration, Kupwara. The PRO further revealed that the Kupwara administration made a special request due to the closure of the only road passing through Sadhna Top.

BSF Kashmir Inspector General (IG) Raja Babu Singh said, “We are always there to serve the people of Kashmir.”

The IG also ensured that the well being of the people is his first and foremost priority. “We are here to win the hearts and minds of the local people through our philanthropic and kind actions,” he said. (ANI)
