Washington: After two years of cancellations due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Coachella music festival scene has set in April 2022 and closed in on its headliners for the event: Harry Styles, Kanye West and Billie Eilish.
According to People magazine, Styles, Eilish, and West were confirmed as headliners for the two-weekend concert in Indio, Calif., from April 15 to 17 and April 22 to 24. Other notable singers who took the stage at the event include Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby, Ari Lennox, Phoebe Bridgers, Swedish House Mafia and 88Rising Head in the Clouds Forever.
Travis Scott was previously scheduled to perform at Coachella, but was reportedly dropped after 10 people died and hundreds were injured at their Astroworld festival in November 2021.
The Coachella concert was delayed and then canceled several times during the pandemic.
The festival was originally scheduled for the spring of 2020 and was then postponed to October, followed by another postponement until April 2021, again in light of health and safety concerns.
