In a recent interview, Kartik’s trainer spoke about his commitment to the challenge. Kartik had to gain 14 kg for Freddy.
Fitness trainer Samir Jaura said, “Kartik is someone who has a genetically lean body. So when Freddy had to gain about 14 pounds, we knew it was going to be a task. But his dedication is next level! By following a disciplined routine of training and a proper diet, he was able to achieve the appearance well in time. Gaining pounds requires a well-monitored process because it’s not just about shredding or tearing muscles. He did a fantastic job and the look was perfect for the film.”
