Kashmir: Migrant laborer from Bihar killed by terrorists in Bandipora


Asif Suhaf, Srinagar: Suspected terrorists shot dead a migrant laborer in Sadunara village of Ajas tehsil in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Officials told News24 that the terrorists identified a non-local laborer as Mohammad Amrej, a resident of Bihar, around 12:30 am on Friday.

This is the second such incident in the last 10 days. Last week a non-local laborer was killed in Pulwama.

The blood-soaked Mohammad Amrej was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, officials said.

The official said that the deceased Mohammad Amrej is the son of Mohammad Jalil, a resident of Bihar. Police has started further investigation in the murder case.

Earlier on August 4, in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, terrorists killed another non-local laborer from Bihar, Mohammad Mumtaz.
