Kerala HC continues the proceedings…


New Delhi: The Kerala High Court on Wednesday stayed the criminal trial of actress Sunny Leone and her husband Daniel Weber in the 2019 cheating case. The event company registered a case against Sunny Leone and her husbands in 2019.

According to the complaint, the actor allegedly failed to attend a Valentine’s Day function in Kochi in 2019 after accepting around Rs 29,000.

The couple were later charged with offenses punishable under Sections 406 (criminal breach of trust), 420 (fraud and dishonesty leading to transfer of property) and 34 (acts in furtherance of common purpose by several persons). Indian Penal Code.

Sunny Leone and Daniel Weber filed a petition in the Kerala HC. They demanded that the criminal case against her, husband Daniel and one of her employees be dropped.

In her petition, the actress has denied the allegations leveled against her, her husband and their employee.

The court adjourned the hearing of the application today. Although the event company claimed cheating, Sunny claimed to have come twice and the event was not organized.

Meanwhile, Sunny Leone’s ‘bold’ photo surfaced in the competitive entrance exam. A candidate appearing for the Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test (TET-2022) ran into trouble when his hall ticket had a picture of Sunny Leone.
