The police initiated proceedings based on Simrán’s report
The police registered a case against the accused Balwinder on the basis of Simran’s complaint. The police started the investigation by remanding the accused for one day. Simran Mahant of Patiala claimed to be married to Balwinder Kumar alias Mittu Ladda of Sangrur. After that, they were cheated of Rs 50 lakh.
Victim Simran Mahant told the media in Sangrur, “Accused Balwant saw her on a Mahants show. After that, Balwant got married saying that he was in love.
“The accused knew she was marrying a eunuch”
Simran said, “Before the marriage, Balwant knew that she was marrying a eunuch. He also accompanied Balwan to many hill stations on vacation. We have been living as husband and wife for a long time in Chandigarh. During this time, Balwant cheated Rs 50 lakh.”
Talking to the media, Simran also showed many pictures with the accused. After that, Simran toured the police station, the Investigation Bureau and the Women’s Cell. A case has now been registered against Balwant.

In this case, police officer Sukhwinder Singh said, “A case has been registered against the alleged accused Balwinder Kumar alias Mittu Ladda. He was brought to court and remanded in custody for 1 day. After questioning him, the case will be investigated. Balwinder allegedly stole cash and jewelery from Kinnar Simran Mahant.
