Looking into 'Trishula Deeksha' by Bajrang Dal activists, action if found any violation: Mangaluru Police Commissioner


Mangaluru (Karnataka) [India], Oct 16 (ANI): Mangaluru Police Commissioner N Sashi Kumar on Friday said that he has directed the officials to oversee the distribution of Trishul (trident) among Bajrang Dal workers at an event in the city.

Kumar said action would be taken if there was any violation.

More than 100 Bajrang Dal workers were given Trishul (Trishul) at Bajrang Dal office in Mangaluru as part of ‘Trishula Diksha’ during Ayudha Puja ceremony on Friday. Pictures and videos of the event went viral on social media.

Thereafter the Commissioner of Police took cognizance of the matter.

Kumar said, “I came to know about the incident of ‘Trishula Diksha’ on Ayudha Puja. Videos and pictures of Trishul distribution went viral on social media. During investigation we came to know that Bajrang Dal distributes Trishul every year.” told reporters here.

“I have directed the officials to investigate the matter and initiate action if there is any violation,” he said. (ANI)
