With a weekend box office collection of Rs 225 crore worldwide, Brahmastra is ranked #1 in Global Box Office this weekend.
Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji shared a clip and expressed his gratitude. He wrote: “Brahmāstra has got off to a great start with audiences on his first weekend! The feeling is just gratitude and even more gratitude – for our audience! .”
“Public acceptance – that’s the only reward we work for in cinema.
The future of the Brahmāstra Trilogy and the Astraverse is ultimately in the hands of our audience, and this weekend we got back from them… light – for the years of work that has gone into this endeavor!”
“I am proud that we managed to create a great energy in the cinemas over the last 3 days with people coming out and sitting together – to see a whole new kind of film for our cinema, one that taking technology to the next level and doing so while retaining the soul of Indian culture and spirituality. We were also the #1 film at the worldwide box office this weekend…another source of pride, excitement and progression for us! Good energy for the next few weeks of Brahmāstra’s journey in cinemas… and also for the love of film in general, the most popular art form of our time that should entertain and unite us! .”
