New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki Alto is the best selling car: One of the cheapest cars in the country, the Maruti Suzuki Alto has now become the best selling car in the country and this entry level hatchback has exploded during the festival season.

Yes, the car sales report for October 2022 has arrived where Maruti Suzuki Alto was the best selling car. It was followed by Maruti Suzuki WagonR and Swift and Baleno in the top four. Tata Nexon has overtaken the best selling SUV Maruti Suzuki Brezza by a huge leap. Maruti Alto sales

Among the top 10 selling cars in India, Maruti Suzuki Alto sold a total of 21,260 units, representing 22 percent annual sales. It is followed by the Maruti Suzuki WagonR, which sold a total of 17,945 units in October last year, up 45 percent year-on-year. In third place is the Maruti Suzuki Swift, which sold 17,231 units last month with a year-on-year growth of 88 percent.

The fourth best-selling car was the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, which sold a total of 17,149 units last month, representing a year-on-year growth of 10 percent. The fifth best-selling car was the Tata Nexon, which sold a total of 13,767 units last month, representing a year-on-year growth of 36%.

Annual sales of most cars have increased

Maruti Suzuki Dzire ranked sixth in the list of Top 10 best-selling cars in October 2022 with total sales of 12,321 units and a year-on-year growth of 53 percent. It is followed by the popular compact SUV Hyundai Creta, which sold a total of 11,880 units and grew by 84 percent year-on-year. Eighth on the list is Tata Punch, which sold 10,982 units in the last month, growing 30 percent year-on-year.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is at the 9th position in the top 10 with sales of 10,494 units, showing a 19 percent year-on-year decline. Last on the list is the Maruti Suzuki Brezza, which sold a total of 9,941 units in the last month, growing by 24 percent year-on-year.
