Mastermind nabbed when escape city


Howrah: The police have made a breakthrough in a case involving two young boys from Kolkata, West Bengal. The police have arrested the main accused in the case from Howrah district.

According to news agency PTI, a special team nabbed main accused Satyendra Choudhury from Howrah railway station as he tried to flee the city.

Earlier, during the investigation of the case, the police arrested four suspected accomplices of the main defendant.

On September 6, the bodies of 17-year-old twin boys were found in a Basirhat morgue. They disappeared two weeks ago.

The police discovered that the two men had been strangled to death. The bodies were spotted by local police in Malancha area of ​​North 24 Parganas district. After that, they were taken to the morgue.

Meanwhile, the state government on Wednesday suspended the inspector-in-charge and another officer of the Baguati Police Station. The boy’s disappearance complaint was filed here.

An official said the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has taken over the case.

The accused took the Baguiati boys and promised them that they would help them buy a used bicycle on August 22. Two days later, the accused demanded a ransom of 1 billion.

He demanded the ransom after killing the two boys in a car, police said.
