The couple often shares photos with each other on social media. Both belong to the IAS batch 2019. IAS Srishti Jayant Deshmukh and Arjun Gowda have a tremendous fanbase on social media. Deshmukh, who secured an All India Rank 5 in the 2018 UPSC Civil Services Examination, married his fellow IAS officer Nagarjuna B Gowda of the same batch in April 2022.

Srishti Jayant Deshmukh secured All India Rank 5 and became the top female candidate in UPSC CSE 2018. According to a report, Srishti Jayant Deshmukh in her third year of engineering thought that she could not spend her entire life with a simple job as an engineer. After which he started preparing for UPSC along with engineering.

Srishti Jayant Deshmukh says that it was very difficult to study engineering along with preparing for UPSC exam. She used to spend maximum time and energy in UPSC preparation. She used to prepare for one and a half months for engineering semester exams.

Srishti’s family always supported her decision. Srishti’s mother is a teacher and father is an engineer, but she never asked what she was doing and why or how. He always tried to give a good atmosphere to the universe.

Srishti Jayant Deshmukh says that focus is very important for UPSC preparation. He thought that his first attempt would be his last. So he deleted his social media accounts before starting the preparation.

He said in an interview that reading newspapers and watching Rajya Sabha TV (RSTV) helped Srishti Jayant Deshmukh a lot in his UPSC preparation. Apart from this, online study material was also helpful.

According to Srishti Jayant Deshmukh, “While preparing for UPSC exam, keep in mind that this is the last chance and your competition is not against lakhs of people, as not all aspirants who appear for the exam are serious. You are only competing with those who are taking the exam seriously, so remove the fear from your mind.”
