MK Stalin inaugurates DMK’s office ‘Anna-Kalaignar Arivalayam’ in Delhi


New Delhi: On his three day visit to the national capital, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) supremo and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Saturday inaugurated the ‘Anna-Kalaignar Arivalayam’, his party’s new office here.  

The Chief Minister was accompanied by Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi during the inauguration ceremony. 

On Thursday, the DMK chief met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed about several projects in the southern state. During the meeting, he also discussed about sending aids, food, medicines etc to Sri Lanka given the economic crisis in the country. 

SriLanka is currently facing one of the worst economic crisis in its history.

Tamil Nadu CM on Friday also inspected government schools and mohalla clinics in Delhi with state Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Stalin, during his visit to Delhi, have met and interacted with several national leaders like Union Minister Piyush Goyal, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari. 

The visit of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister was scheduled for the inauguration of the party office in the national capital. 

DMK is the third-largest party in Lok Sabha with a strength of 24 MPs.
