New Delhi: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) right-arm bowler Moeen Ali hit back at Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) as he took four wickets at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Monday.
Mayers falls after a quick fifty
KL Rahul-led LSG stood firm thanks to Kyle Mayers’ 21-ball half-century as he led the Super Giants’ batting attack in the power play. But after completing his fifty Moeen removed his wicket and CSK were back in the game.
What a dream spell from Moeen Ali.
He took the wickets of Rahul, Mayers, Krunal and Stoinis.

Moeen Ali wickets
Moeen took the big wicket. Mayers swept it and loved it to deep mid-wicket. The Chepauk crowd is finding its voice again.
Rahul swept it towards wide mid-wicket with a slip. Gaikwad took a few steps to his left and did so a few yards between the ropes. Moeen removed both the openers.
On the last ball of the 10th over, a full off from Moeen, Krunal shot across and took Jadeja off the ropes.
Stoin was cleaned up by Moeen who now picked up the fourth. What hand did the all-rounder play today with the bat and now with the ball.
