On her role as Junoon in Brahmastra, Mouni Roy said that she is very excited about the rave reviews for her performance in Brahmastra, but she would never say that she overshadowed the film’s leads Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji, is an epic fantasy film inspired by Indian mythology. Mouni plays the main antagonist Junoon in the film.
In an interview, she told Siddharth Kannan that she got the role in 2018, following a meeting with Ayan that was scheduled to last 10 minutes but ended up lasting three hours. At the time, her character was called Obsession and she was slated to play a minor role in the film.

Mouni Roy is recently seen in the movie Brahmastra. Mouni created panic with her character and now fans are eager to see her on screen again. Along with Mouni, the film also stars Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna.
