New Delhi [India], October 12 (ANI): Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu, who resigned as the party’s Punjab unit chief last month, was joined on October 14 by Congress’ Punjab in-charge Harish Rawat and All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary KC Venugopal. Will meet you Thursday).
Rawat further said that the meeting would be held to discuss some organizational matters related to the Punjab Pardesh Congress Committee.
He said the meeting would be held at Venugopal’s office at 6 pm.
In a tweet today, Rawat said, “Shri Navjot Singh Sidhu, President Punjab Congress will meet me and Shri Venugopal ji on October 14 at 6 PM at Venugopal ji’s office to discuss some organizational matters related to Punjab Pardesh Congress Committee. “
On 28 September, Sidhu resigned from the post of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president.
Sidhu had said in his resignation letter, “The downfall of a man’s character comes from a compromise corner. I can never compromise on the future of Punjab and the agenda of Punjab’s welfare.”
