New Hyundai Creta debuts in January, details inside


New Delhi: The Hyundai Creta facelift was first introduced to the Indonesian market at GIIAS 2021. Now, the updated SUV is all set to make its India debut in January 2023. It will be showcased at the next Delhi Auto Expo to be held on January 13-18 in Greater Noida. The model is likely to hit the market before the end of this fiscal year.

However, an official release date has not yet been announced. Read on to find out what has changed in the 2023 Hyundai Creta facelift.

Updated front, rear

Most of the cosmetic updates are seen on the front. The new Creta seems to have been inspired by the next generation Tucson, with a new parametric grille running across its width. The grille blends well with the LED DRLs, which have a different design. It has more rectangular headlights located slightly lower in the bumper.

Compared to the current model, the new one appears to have sharper taillights and revised taillights. The rear light clusters have two vertical grooves on each side and are connected by a plastic panel. The rear bumper was also redesigned. New features

Talking about the interior improvements, the new Hyundai Creta 2023 facelift has a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster which is seen on the Alcazar. It gets the updated Hyundai BlueLink Connected Car technology, which offers new safety features such as valet parking, stolen vehicle immobilizer and stolen vehicle tracking.

All the features mentioned above are available through the user’s phone. The SUV still features the same dashboard, touchscreen infotainment system, smartphone connectivity, cooled front seats, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, air cleaner and more.

The main highlight of the new Hyundai Creta 2023 is ADAS (advanced driver assistance system). The kit comes with safety features such as automatic emergency braking with forward collision avoidance, rear collision avoidance assist, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist and blind spot monitoring. However, it is reserved for the top edge.


As mentioned above, the 2023 Hyundai Creta facelift will continue to come with the same engine options: 1.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol (115hp/144Nm), 1.5-litre diesel (115hp) and 1.4-litre turbo petrol (140hp). Transmissions include the same 6-speed manual and CVT automatic transmissions.
