Although the company has not given any official information about the price, but the process of speculation has been going on for a long time. Nissan has previously showcased SUVs like the X-Trail, Juke and Qashqai in the Indian market.
If media reports are to be believed, Nissan’s upcoming 7-seater will be developed on the CMF-A platform just like the Magnite. Nissan can improve the looks and features of this MPV. In the near future, specific information about this will be available only after the official announcement of the company.
It could see a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that could generate up to 99bhp and 140Nm of torque. This Nissan MPV can be offered with manual or CVT automatic transmission.
7-Seater Models of Popular SUVs
Let us tell you that this trend is fast catching up in the Indian market that if the sales of the 5-seater SUV are good, then the preparation for its 7-seater variant is starting. Some examples can be seen in MG Hector Plus and Hyundai Alcazar. The discussion about Alcazar is because a large number of people believe it to be the 7-digit Creta. However, the company introduced it under a completely different name.
Along with the 7-seater Kia Seltos, the 7-seater Tata Harrier is also expected to be launched in India in the near future. In such a situation, it seems beneficial for Nissan that why not bring a 7-seater model of the popular Magnite SUV. However, the company has not made any official statement on the matter.
