Noida: About 12 years ago, 177 cameras were installed on the Noida Expressway connecting Noida and Greater Noida. About 50 of these cameras have been defunct for a long time, but no one is paying attention. The biggest thing is that most of the cameras are bad on the way to Pari Chowk. The Noida Traffic Police has sent a letter to the Noida Authority to correct them.

According to the information received, about 177 surveillance cameras have been installed on the 24-kilometer highway from Noida to Greater Noida, but about 50 of these cameras are faulty. Whose control was from the command control room near the Mahamaya flyover, but now this control room has moved to sector 94.

The Noida authority replied that the underpass work is going on in the Noida Expressway. It is understood that during the excavation, the wires of the camera were severed and it was damaged as a result. Apart from this, problems are also faced due to bad batteries in the cameras and other reasons.

In this regard, a letter has now been sent to the Noida Authority on behalf of the Noida Traffic Police. What orders were given to fix all the cameras? The contract with the company installing the cameras has expired. Now another company is responsible.
