New Delhi: Delhi Police has summoned Nora Fateh for summons in the $200 million extortion case filed against con man Sukesh Chandrashekhar. The Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of the Delhi Police has asked him to join the investigation at 11 am on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the EOW has grilled Jacqueline Fernandez for eight and a half hours in connection with the same incident. The actor has not been invited to the second round tomorrow. Senior officials will hold a meeting and discuss the answers, he said in today’s session. They then decide whether to call Jacqueline in for another round of questioning.

Earlier, Nora Fateh was interrogated by the EOW on September 2 in the money laundering case.

According to reports, Nora was asked more than 50 questions in the 200 Cr extortion case. Questions include what gifts he got, who he talked to, where he met them, and so on.

According to reports, he cooperated. He said he had no contact with Jacqueline Fernandez and both spoke to him (Sukesh Chandrashekhar) separately.

He (Fatehi) said he didn’t know about his criminal background; also said he (Sukesh) discussed with his superiors and cousins ​​and very few conversations with him.

Jacqueline got the gifts from conman Sukesh

In April, the agency temporarily attached assets worth ₹7 billion of Jacqueline Fernandez under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

The ED alleged that Sukesh gifted Jacqueline a horse worth ₹52 lakh and a Persian cat worth ₹9 lakh.

The actor said that Sukesh Chandrasekhar had met him only twice when he was on parole. He appeared at the ED for questioning on several occasions, most recently on June 27.
