Hubli (Karnataka): Amid rumors of his resignation as the Chief Minister of Karnataka, Basavaraj Bommai has made it clear that he is not stepping down.
Speaking to the media in Hubballi, Bommai on Saturday clarified that he is not traveling to any foreign country and there is no question of a new chief minister in Karnataka.
“The event in Davos has been postponed till June. So, there are no plans to travel abroad,” Bommai said.
According to reports, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi and BJP’s Karnataka unit chief Nalin Kumar Kateel also ruled out change of leadership in the state, saying Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai would continue till the next election in 2023.
