NTA postponed CUET UG exam 2022 for more than 11 thousand candidates, know why


CUET UG Exam: The National Testing Agency (NTA) said on Saturday that the CUET-UG for over 11,000 candidates who appeared in Phase 4 has been postponed till August 30 to accommodate the test center of their choice.

CUET UG exams were scheduled from 17th to 20th. of August and a total of 3.72 lakh candidates had to appear.

The National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the exam, had earlier announced that all stages of the exam will end on August 28.

UGC President Jagdish Kumar said, “For over 11,000 out of 3.72 million candidates, the exam has been postponed to August 30 to accommodate the test center in a city of their choice. NTA has increased the capacity of the centers and apart from ensuring the quality of the centres, research centers have also been added.

He said it has also been decided to deploy more technical staff by taking Assistant Professor level facilities in each center as technical invigilators to ensure smooth conduct of the examination. The agency had to cancel the exam at several centers due to disruptions in the second phase of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET).

NTA will release Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) Phase 4 Admit Card 2022 on 13th August 2022 and candidates can download their admit card from the official site cuet.samarth.ac.in
