Owaisi said, “PM Modi never speaks on two things- hike in petrol and diesel prices and China is sitting inside our territory in Ladakh.
New Delhi: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and alleged that he never spoke on the issue of fuel price hike and China “sitting in Ladakh”. Huh.
Addressing a gathering here, Owaisi said, “PM Modi never speaks on two things – hike in petrol and diesel prices and China is sitting inside our territory in Ladakh.” “The PM is afraid to speak on China,” he alleged.
Petrol and diesel prices hit an all-time high as fuel rates continued to rise by 35 paise/litre across the country for the fourth consecutive day on Sunday. With the latest hike, the price of petrol has gone up to Rs 105.84 per liter while the price of diesel will now be Rs 94.57 per liter in Delhi.
Further, commenting on Army personnel killed during various operations against terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, Owaisi said, “Nine of our soldiers were killed in JK, and India will play a T20 match against Pakistan on October 24? “
“Our jawans have been martyred. Will you play T20? Pakistan is playing with the lives of people of India for 20-20 days every day in Kashmir,” he said.
Talking about the series of targeted civilian killings in Kashmir, Owaisi asked whether it was a failure of the BJP-led Centre. “Poor workers of Bihar are being killed, targeted killings are being done, what are the Intelligence Bureau and (Union Home Minister) Amit Shah doing? It is a failure of the Centre,” he said.
A street vendor from Bihar and a laborer from Uttar Pradesh were killed in two consecutive attacks by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar and Pulwama districts on Saturday. In the past few days, several civilians have been killed by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, triggering panic in the Valley.
