PM Modi presided over the meeting of the Union Cabinet, took many big decisions


A meeting of the Union Cabinet was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and many important decisions were taken.

New Delhi: The Union Cabinet met under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday. Union Minister Anurag Thakur and Union Minister Piyush Goyal informed the media about the decisions taken in this meeting held on Wednesday.

He said that decisions have been taken on many important issues in the cabinet meeting. The government has approved doubling of Neemuch-Ratlam line in Madhya Pradesh which is still a single line. About Rs 196 crore will be spent on this 133 km long line.

Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that approval has also been given to convert Rajkot-Canalus line into double line in Gujarat. An investment of Rs 1080 crore will be made on this 111 km long line.

With the formation of these two lines, industries will get momentum. The work of doubling of these two railway lines has been ensured to be completed in three years.

This was the fourth meeting of the Union Cabinet after the cabinet reshuffle on 7 July. According to reports, the work of various ministries was reviewed in the meeting.

Along with this, there was an intense discussion on taking the schemes of the government to the public.
