PM Modi to visit poll-bound Uttar Pradesh 4 more times this month


New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Uttar Pradesh four times before the Election Commission of India (ECI) announces the dates for the state assembly elections.

On December 18, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of Ganga Expressway in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The 594 km long expressway from Meerut to Prayagraj will cost over Rs 36,200 crore.

On December 21, the PM will address a huge program in which about two lakh women employees will participate.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a seminar with farmers in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on 23 December. At the event, the Prime Minister will share his vision for the agriculture sector.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kanpur on 28 December where he will inaugurate the Kanpur Metro project. He will also be present at the convocation ceremony of IIT Kanpur.

In the past month, the prime minister has visited Uttar Pradesh six times – Gorakhpur, Sultanpur, Varanasi, Jhansi, Greater Noida and Balrampur – for the unveiling of projects.
