Tribal Pride Day marks the birthday of tribal icon Birsa Munda, who is worshiped as a deity by tribal communities across the country.
The Ministry of Tribal Affairs has also planned nationwide celebrations for the occasion. The central government has declared November 15 as Tribal Pride Day to commemorate the contribution of tribal communities to the nation’s history and culture.
