New Delhi: In a veiled attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi took to Twitter to raise the issue of unemployment in the country. Rahul Gandhi, posing in front of the camera with graduates holding placards reading ‘We need jobs’, asked the Prime Minister ‘The Panthers have arrived in India, why haven’t 6 crore jobs come in the past 8 years’?

“The youth of this country are asking for jobs and they will definitely get them,” he added. Today is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. Interestingly, the Congress party celebrates Unemployment Day all over the country.

To mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday as ‘Unemployment Day’, the Indian Youth Congress ‘Berojgari Melas’ was organized across the country on 17th September.

Several party members arrived at the IYC office wearing black T-shirts, holding banners and chanting protests.

Prime Minister Modi turned 72 years old, receiving congratulations from dignitaries and lawmakers.

National President IYC Srinivas BV in a speech to party members noted that the BJP government had given the nation’s youth the “gift of unemployment” since he took office.

The International Youth Committee urged the Prime Minister to pay attention to the unemployed youth and to provide them with job opportunities.
