Rain expected in more than 10 states for 2 days from today, IMD latest alert


Weather forecast: Even today, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued rain warnings in many areas. The MID has forecast heavy rains in many states, including West Bengal, Odisha and Jharkhand, for the next two to three days.

Due to the low pressure area that has formed over Bay of Bengal and Odisha coast, many areas of West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh are likely to receive heavy rains during the next two or three days.

Rain is possible over Odisha, Telangana, North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Marathwada, Vidarbha and East Madhya Pradesh, according to the Meteorological Department. Heavy rain and thundershowers are expected over West Madhya Pradesh and Madhya Maharashtra for the next two days. Also, rain is expected in many parts of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand today.

Rain is expected in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura today. Also, the Meteorological Department has predicted rain in many areas of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Maharashtra. Also, rain is possible over many parts of Konkan, Goa and South Gujarat.

Weather forecasters predict cloudy rain in Delhi-NCR even today. The weather in Delhi is pleasant because of the rain. During the day, the weather department has predicted light rain and generally cloudy skies in and around Delhi. On September 23, Delhi may experience light rain and cloudy skies.

Monsoon activity, which has been raining heavily in Uttar Pradesh for the past few days, continues. Rain is possible in many parts of the eastern part of the country during the next 24 hours.

Light to moderate rain is expected in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha, according to private weather forecasting agency Skymet Weather. Light to moderate rains with one or two heavy spells are possible over North Madhya Maharashtra and Bihar.

Northeast India, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, East Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and parts of Telangana, Vidarbha, Haryana and North Punjab may experience light to moderate rains. Rain is very likely over Gangetic West Bengal, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.
