Rain makes weather pleasant in Delhi-NCR areas


On Wednesday morning, rain once again disrupted commuters, those going to the office and school. Although the weather remains pleasant in Delhi-NCR areas. Light to moderate rain was seen over South, East and Northeast India, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during the last 24 hours.

Some parts of central India saw light rain and some parts saw moderate rain.

Light rain is expected over Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep as per sky weather forecast.

* Cyclonic circulation is going on over Haryana and adjoining areas.

* Cyclonic circulation is going on over North Tamil Nadu and adjoining areas.

*A trough extends from the system over Tamil Nadu to Northeast Rajasthan.

There was light to moderate rain in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidharbha, Chhattisgarh, Rayalaseema, Puducher Nadu, Karaikal and interior Karnataka.

Scattered rain was observed over Odisha, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Konkan, Goa, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe and Lakshadweep.

Isolated light rains were witnessed over Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, East Rajasthan and Gujarat.

Moderate rains with heavy spells are expected over Arunachal Pradesh in the next 24 hours.

Light to moderate rain may occur over Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Isolated rain is seen over Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana and Gujarat.
