Rajasthan government orders closure of schools till January 30


New DelhiThe Rajasthan government has announced the closure of schools in urban areas on Sunday. In view of the rising Kovid cases in Rajasthan, the state government has announced the closure of schools. As per the guidelines, the night curfew will be applicable from 11 pm to 5 am every day.

The fresh cases of COVID-19 have prompted the government to tighten restrictions in the state. Rajasthan currently has 19,467 active cases.

“There are reports of thousands of doctors getting infected. The situation is worrying. We all have to fight this pandemic together. We will be successful in this only with the cooperation of the people.

Earlier, the government had announced the closure of schools from class 1 to 8 in Jaipur and Jodhpur municipal corporation areas till January 17.

As per the guidelines issued by the state home department, schools up to class 12 in municipal and municipal areas will remain closed till January 30. Online classes will continue as before, it said.

Schools will remain closed from Monday i.e. January 10, but the rest of the restrictions will be applicable from January 11 as per the guidelines.
