Let us tell you that Ram Navami is celebrated on the ninth day of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month. It is said that Lord Vishnu took his seventh incarnation from the womb of Dasaratha’s eldest wife, Kaushalya as Rama. This is the reason why Ram Navami is celebrated to commemorate the birthday of Shri Ram. But let us tell that along with the birth of Rama, his three brothers Lakshmana, Shatrughan and Bharat were also born on this day.

On the day of Ram Navami, one must wake up early in the morning, take bath and wear fresh clothes. Then take a vow to keep the fast with rice in hand and water should be offered to the Sun God. After that worship Lord Shri Ram and offer ganga jal, flowers, garlands, 5 types of fruits, sweets and more. Also, offer Tulsi leaves and lotus flowers to Lord Rama.
