Brahmastra cash collection Day 1 all India net
The film will become the highest opening day in history on a non-holiday for Hindi original content. It has a tremendous first day collecting around Rs 35-36 net crore in all its versions. This seems to break Ranbir’s biggest open too far, Sanju, which yielded Rs 34.75 crores on the first day of 2018.
According to trade analyst Ramesh Bala, “Early estimates for Day 1 for All-India Nice for all languages 36 crs.” This marked Brahmastra as the highest non-holiday opener for an original Hindi film.
As of Wednesday night, Rs. 11 million worth of Brahmastra tickets had been sold since advance sales began. In the post-pandemic era, these were considered the best pre-sale figures for any Bollywood film.
Brahmastra is about a boy named Shiva who happens to be a DJ but soon realizes his destiny has chosen him for something greater. He is destined to awaken Brahmastra. Along with his lover Isha, he embarks on a quest to understand his connection with the element of fire. Film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead role. Apart from them, Brahmastra also has Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna in key roles. The film also has a cameo appearance from Shah Rukh Khan.
